A charity coffee morning for people to get together over a drink and cake. Dietary options catered for.

Members of The Lewis Foundation will be there if you want to have a chat.
It is an opportunity to drop off items for our charity during the event.

There will also be a Tombola, DVD sale, CD sale, Book sale or either a Table top to raise funds for our free gift packs.

The Run At Stanwick Lakes Spring Run is ideal for the recreational runner perhaps entering a run for the first time or the competitive runner looking for a personal best!

Stanwick Lakes is the ideal running course with purpose built tracks and the additional feature of being on a nature reserve with stunning views.

There are three separate distances to choose from – 5K, 10K and Half Marathon

All runners are timed and receive a finishing medal.

Our Visitors Centre café is open from 8.30am on run day serving pre run drinks and food.

The Milton Keynes Half Marathon and Festival of Running takes place on Sunday 15th March 2020 starting at our wonderful Xscape city-centre venue and we hope you will come and join us!

The festival consists of a gentle or super-swift 5k event, our classic 10k distance race, our ever popular half marathon distance race and our 20 miler for those who like to go long.

​

If you’re running the Virgin London Marathon, Brighton Marathon or one of the other big spring marathon races, the longer races are ideal races for you to add to your preparation programme. The courses are mainly flat, fast and well marshaled to ensure you get any assistance you need.

​

We also have some wonderful experienced pacers running in the half marathon and the 20 mile event to help you achieve your goals. All you’ve got to do is hang on!

​

The races start on the central dual-carriageways of Milton Keynes then winds through some beautiful scenery. We hope you will gain plenty of inspiration along the way whatever your race-day goal – fun run, stepping stone to full marathon, personal best time or just to finish!

Milton Keynes is conveniently located just 30 minutes from London by train and just off Junction 14 of the M1, 40 minutes from the M25 and Birmingham. The Xscape centre is just 5 minutes from the motorway and has plenty of parking spaces available.

A modest sized bit of cake we are thinking per lap! The event will have a six hour time limit for you to run as many, or as few laps as you wish. With a timed event, as long as you complete one lap, you are an official finisher!

There will be cake, and we encourage participants to bring their own cake creations. There will be a prizes for the best cakes of the day!

We're not so keen on the calories, which is why many of us run, so we can indulge and at this running event, you can indulge! Back for the third successive Easter, The more you run the more chocolate you earn! Run as many half mile laps as you like in one hour. You will get chocolate at the end of each lap but whether you run one or 20 laps you'll earn a Easter themed medal at the end. You can also take breaks between laps if you wish. The Easter bunny will be in attendance, free photos will be published on our Facebook page and there is free parking.

This is a fun run for all ages. Great for families. The event will run alongside the Obelisk Easter fete which you’ll also get free entry to with food, drink, craft stalls and more: https:

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE CHASE THE SUN SERIES WILL BE RETURNING TO PRESTWOLD HALL ON THURSDAY 14TH MAY 2020.

Run 5k, 10k or the Move Mile around the flat and fast Airfield at Prestwold Hall and battle to get around the course before the sun goes down. This is a perfect venue for testing yourself over a new distance or going for a personal best!

Each kilometre is accurately marked out with distance flags and we have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and to encourage you on your way to the finish. At the end of the race you will each get a themed medal, water, fruit & flapjack and free event photographs!

A tour of Northampton's Heritage and Countryside
The Northampton Half Marathon is back for it's eighth year and is established as the town's showcase running event, as well as more charities and local communities getting involved. 

​

The Town Centre start will be in the shadow of The Guildhall and loops out to the race course, the town's home of park run, before returning to the Guildhall and then taking in the Shoemakers Museum and the Theatre before heading out of town for some picturesque countryside running and an inspiring finish on the front lawn at Delapre Abbey making a terrific backdrop for the Northampton Half Marathon.

​

With close proximity to Junction 15 of the M1, travel to and from the event is straightforward.

​

Importantly, the race has become a platform for many charities, raising funds for good causes.
