Latest news on what we get upto and how people help support us

Gift Pack

Emergency Pack

Hi everyone,

We have been getting enquiries from people asking if we can

support with essential items such as toiletries, antibacterial

products etc for people who can't go out to get them due to

self - isolation or the shops have sadly been stripped of them.

We will be offering our free emergency packs on a limited

basis to people who are currently going through cancer

treatment as and when we get the products from companies who are offering to support us with this.

The plan for now is to get this going in Northampton and the packs to be just dropped off with the recipient being made aware of it. It won't be our usual personal visit.

If this is something you feel you may need or someone you know, please CLICK HERE. Please only let us know via email so we can keep track of requests that come in. If there is a high demand, it may mean a waiting list.

I know certain items are like gold dust right now but if anyone happens to come across the following whilst they are out and about and would like to donate that would be wonderful. We are looking for:

Anti - bacterial gel

Hand wash

Toilet Tissue

Shower Gel

Hand cream

Thank you for everyone for your continued support in helping us make a difference.

Important Information

Coronavirus Update

Hi everyone,

Having visited all the hospitals we support this week and all

the updates we have been receiving about the Coronavirus,

we have made the decision to pause our personal hospital

visits where we go round and hand out our gifts.

We will review this on a weekly basis.

You all know this is something we love to do but our priority

right now is the safety of patients and our volunteers.

Our packs will continue to be available at the hospitals we support and topped up, if you wish to have something to keep you busy during treatment.

I’m sure you will understand our decision. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Our coffee morning will still be going ahead tomorrow at 9.30am - 12pm at the Elgar Centre, Northampton.

Best wishes

Lorraine and Lee x

Chronicle & Echo

Front Page Coverage

Finally picked up our local newspaper and it’s amazing even if a

bit weird (in a good way) seeing yourself in WHSmith on the front

Finding out about receiving the British Citizen Medal at the

House of Lords was something we would never even dreamed of

imagining that would happen, when we think back to why

The Lewis Foundation began and everything we have done the

last 3 1/2 years to support cancer patients in hospital.

We still have to pinch ourselves to see if this is really happening. Cannot wait to attend the medal ceremony this month.

Thank you to the Northampton Chronicle this week for your publicity this week online and offline. Cannot even begin to tell you the impact it has had.
