THE LEWIS FOUNDATION CHRISTMAS HAMPER APPEAL 2025

This will be our 9th year we will be running our Christmas Hamper campaign, which brings so much joy to so many cancer patients in the community and hospital setting.

How does it work?

Every year we surprise adult cancer patients in the community with a luxury food and drink hamper from our charity The Lewis Foundation.

From the Monday 27th October 2025 until Monday 24th October 2025 at 23:59, members of the public can nominate an adult they know who has been diagnosed with cancer to receive a surprise hamper from The Lewis Foundation. The person nominated must be in an area where The Lewis Foundation currently has a hospital partnership, for the nomination to be accepted.

Once the nomination window closes, we will then see select the recipients. We will co-ordinate with the person who made the nomination the date we will make the delivery to make sure they are present to receive it. Then from 1st December 2025 until Christmas Day members of The Lewis Foundation turn up as a surprise with one of our hampers at a location where we have been told they will be.

How you can get involved?

We are looking for businesses and individuals who would like to sponsor a hamper for a cancer patient.

The cost of the hamper and the contents for £45.

If you would like to sponsor a hamper, get in touch: hello@thelewisfoundation.co.uk

Any sponsorship payment will need to be made by Monday 17th November 2025, as we have been given this as the cut off this year to purchase the items needed due to the volume we order. Any sponsorship payment made after this date, will be received as a donation to The Lewis Foundation to purchase our free gift packs and support to adult cancer patients in hospital.

Thank you for making a difference.

TESTIMONIALS

I'm messaging you to thank you all so very much for the last gift bags I received from you. In the last year I have been admitted to Talbot Butler Ward at least 5 times one of which was for my stem cell transplant. Each gift bag I have received during this time has always been very truly gratefully received and very appreciated. This time I was admitted and I had a virus which meant no one could come in my room without masks aprons and gloves, including my husband. This was worse for me than when I had the transplant.  This time  I had a temperature, very bad throat and extremely sore nose. The 2 packs I received of a pack with 3 bags of sweets and a pamper pack were amazing and words can't explain how much they were needed,  appreciated and made so much of a difference to my stay. I had soft tissues, sweets to suck,  lip balm, soft face flannel, moisturiser and other bits to make me feel so so much better. Your thoughtful gifts made things so much better for me so thank you from the bottom of ny heart. My long journey in facing through this blood cancer (myeloma) will always be made easier by kind ,caring ,  thoughtful people like.yourselves and all who help you. Thank you all again
