Volunteer Roles for Northampton Colour Run 2024

Car Park Marshal

Guiding cars safely into the car park and lining them up to maximise space, with enough room to exit at the finish.

Registrations/Administration

You could be helping in a number of ways before the event starts - greeting participants as they arrive and allocating them their official run number, handing them their paint pouches orselling extra pouches and fun sunglasses.

Course Marshal

Directing participants safely around the course, cheering them on – lifting their spirits and keeping them motivated.

Paint Station Marshal

Throwing powdered paint (in a nice way!) over the participants as they run through your station. (Please be aware, you may get paint on yourself, so please only volunteer for this role if you are happy to wear it too!)

Start/Finish Volunteer

Helping to line up the participants at the start of the event and then presenting them with their well-deserved medal and water as they finish.

Back Marker

Follow the participants around the course so that we know that everyone has finished safely and stand down the marshals as you pass.

Charity Village Volunteers

Help host a variety of games like hook the duck and tombola’sfor spectators and participants once they have finished.
