Volunteer Roles for The Lewis Foundation Water Dash 2024

Course Set Up

Helping us to set up the course and get it ready for the runners. We are looking for volunteers to help us from 6am – 11am on the day.  Volunteer from a minimum of 1 hour.

Registrations/Administration – Max 2-3 people

You could be helping in several ways before the event starts - greeting participants as they arrive, registering the participantsand allocating them their official run number.

Course Marshalls

Directing participants safely around the course, cheering them on – lifting their spirits and keeping them motivated.

Water Ninja – Minimum 3 per zone ( 5 water zone)

Spraying participants with your super soaker as they run through your zone. (Please be aware, you may get wet, so please only volunteer for this role if you are happy with this!)

Start/Finish Volunteer – Max 4 people

Helping to line up the participants at the start of the event and then presenting them with their well-deserved medal as they finish.
